Maidenhead campaigners recognised by CAMRA for saving local pub
The Craufurd Arms Community Group grabbed the attention of judges after saving the last pub in North Maidenhead using the combined efforts of everyone down to the local residents all the way up to the Prime Minister.
The 50th co-operative pub to open is the Craufurd Arms in Maidenhead, Berkshire, within Theresa May’s constituency. It was described by the Co-operative & Community Finance organisation as “a rare example of an ungentrified local in the affluent Royal Borough of Windsor” that was well known locally for its good beer, darts teams and showing sport on TV.
As you can see we have a new website. It's a work in progress (as with so many things at The Craufurd Arms) so check back in so see more details of teams and events in and around the pub.
